Internal Audit Specialist

One Acre Fund is hiring an Internal Audit Specialist to strengthen controls and audit operations across its country programs in East and West Africa.

• Responsibility for executing internal audit tests and delivering high-quality reviews aligned with Internal Audit Methodology
• Ownership of findings up to team lead level or defined grade 2 & 3 and follow-up to ensure resolution

What you'll do

• Plan and supervise the execution of medium-complexity audits and management requests
• Execute internal audit tests and deliver high-quality reviews in compliance with Internal Audit Methodology
• Coordinate the team to ensure timely delivery of audit reports and management reports
• Innovate and solve audit plan execution challenges, such as swapping audits due to conflicting events
• Support the delivery of Internal Audit OKRs as they relate to the country program
• Report findings to management and work with them to develop resolutions
• Follow up regularly to ensure findings are resolved
