What you'll do

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage)
• Administer Windows and Linux servers for performance, security, and availability
• Implement and manage virtualization solutions (VMware or Hyper-V)
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans
• Monitor system performance and network connectivity, troubleshoot issues
• Implement and enforce security policies (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS)
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory
• Install, configure, and update software and operating systems
• Maintain system documentation and generate performance/security reports
• Develop automation scripts for routine tasks
• Ensure compliance with IT industry standards and regulations
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting
• Lead and mentor junior IT staff
• Collaborate with IT teams and departments for service delivery
• Participate in IT projects (hardware/software rollouts, migrations, upgrades)
• Identify process improvements to enhance IT service quality and efficiency
• Stay updated with technology trends and best practices
