Storekeeper

A full-time Storekeeper role in Owerri, Imo State is open to candidates with relevant experience in food-related environments.

Who can apply

• Holders of an OND certificate
• Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Previous storekeeping experience in a food business, restaurant, kitchen, or similar environment is required
• Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software
• Good understanding of stock handling, counting, storage, and inventory control
• Must be comfortable working around food products and handling physical stock
• Must be based in or willing to work in Owerri, Imo State

What you'll do

• Receive, inspect, record, and properly store food products, ingredients, and other supplies
• Issue stock to the kitchen and other departments based on approved requests while maintaining accurate records
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic store, including proper management of cold storage and food products
• Update inventory records using Excel or inventory management software and support regular stock reconciliation
