Assistant Manager - Puffin Energy

Puffin Group LTD is recruiting an Assistant Manager to lead solar and hybrid energy projects in Kano, Nigeria.

What it offers

• Leadership responsibility for end-to-end delivery of solar PV, inverter, battery storage, hybrid and grid-connected projects

Who can apply

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree/HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Management, Project Management or a related discipline
• Preferred qualification: Master’s degree, MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification
• Minimum experience: 6 years’ professional experience, with 3–5 years in a management, project leadership or senior supervisory role
• Sector experience: Demonstrated experience in solar energy, renewable energy, electrical engineering, power systems, EPC, infrastructure or a closely related sector
• Project experience: Proven ability to manage end-to-end solar, inverter, hybrid or renewable energy projects from concept/design through procurement, installation, commissioning and handover

What you'll do

• Lead development and delivery of renewable energy projects
• Oversee feasibility, design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover
• Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to client satisfaction
