Automotive Storeroom Manager

Eastern Personnel Consultants is recruiting an Automotive Storeroom Manager in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

What it offers

• Full oversight of the inventory lifecycle for automotive spare parts, accessories, oils, tools, and workshop consumables.

Who can apply

• 3–5+ years of experience in automotive parts, auto aftermarket retail, or motor vehicle workshop storerooms, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Grade 12 / High School Diploma required; a diploma or qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management is an advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: strong understanding of automotive components, OEM and aftermarket part numbers, cross-referencing, and workshop consumables.
• Systems Proficiency: hands-on experience with computerized inventory management systems (WMS / ERP such as Kerridge, AutoMate, SAP, or Syspro) and basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Certifications: valid driver’s license; forklift license and hazardous material handling certification (e.g., storage/handling of oils, batteries, and workshop chemicals) preferred.

What you'll do

• Oversee the full inventory lifecycle for automotive spare parts, accessories, oils, tools, and workshop consumables.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure system numbers align with physical stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve stock variances.
