Security Guard

Security Guard positions in Nigeria require vigilant professionals to safeguard an estate’s entry points and perimeter.

What you'll do

• Monitor and control access at estate gates and entry/exit points.
• Verify resident passes, visitor information, and vehicle details before granting access.
• Record and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and security incidents.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the estate and its perimeter.
• Identify suspicious or unusual activities and remain alert.
• Monitor and operate basic security and gate-control equipment.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Assist in managing fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, crowd control, and other emergencies.
• Enforce estate security rules and maintain a professional attitude when interacting with residents, visitors, and colleagues.
• Report security breaches and unusual occurrences to the appropriate supervisor.
• Work assigned day and night shifts and maintain strict punctuality.

Who can apply

• Must have a minimum of an SSCE with a credit in English language.
• Must be between 20 and 35 years old.
• Must have a minimum height of 5 ft 8 inches (173 cm) for male candidates.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
• Must have good eyesight.
