Ecobank Cameroun is recruiting an Internal Auditor to provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal controls across the national network.

What it offers

• Role: Internal Auditor (Job level 5 — Job grade 3)
• Coverage: Entire national territory of Cameroon
• Regulatory framework: COBAC, BEAC, Basel III, IFRS, COSO ERM, IIA standards

Who can apply

• Degree: Bac+4/5 in Audit, Accounting, Finance, Management Control, Banking, Risk Management, Information Systems or Data Science
• Experience: 3 to 5 years minimum in internal/external audit, risk management or control within a financial institution or audit/consulting firm (banking sector strongly preferred)
• Certifications (asset): CIA, CISA, CFE, ACCA, CPA, CAMS, FRM or equivalent
• Skills: Advanced Excel, Power BI, ACL, IDEA, SQL; familiarity with AI tools for audit and data analysis
• Personal qualities: Leadership, results orientation, uncompromising ethics, integrity, confidentiality, innovation

What you'll do

• Execute the Annual Audit Plan and conduct special missions
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements (notably COBAC Regulation R-2016/04 and IIA standards)
• Identify and evaluate financial, operational, technological, compliance, fraud and emerging risks
• Formulate pragmatic recommendations
• Draft audit reports and rigorously follow up on implementation
• Participate in fraud prevention and detection
• Contribute to the digitalization of internal audit (data analysis, automation)
