EHA Clinics is a Nigerian healthcare provider seeking an Assistant Manager, Laboratory and Diagnostics to oversee lab operations, staff, and accreditation in Kano.

Who can apply

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a medical lab, clinic, or hospital
• Bachelor of Science in laboratory science from an accredited university
• Certification from the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN)
• Current practicing license
• Additional training/experience in molecular diagnostic techniques (e.g., PCR) is advantageous

What you'll do

• Supervise and manage laboratory staff (scientists and technicians)
• Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) and SOPs to meet ISO 15189:2022 and JCI Ambulatory Standard accreditation
• Manage External Quality Assurance programs and LIMS for specimen tracking and reporting
• Support HR with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of lab staff
• Investigate non-conformities and patient complaints, taking remedial action
• Maintain equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration
• Draft, review, and enforce new SOPs; prepare quality reports for executives
