Who can apply

  • Minimum requirement: 6 years of full-time relevant professional experience in capacity strengthening, programme coordination, and programme cycle management
  • Required education: Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Experience working with international NGOs on donor-funded projects
  • Experience coordinating multi-partner programmes or consortia is highly desirable
  • Excellent report writing, communication, facilitation, analytical, and negotiation skills

What you'll do

  • Coordinate programme implementation across six districts: Terego, Madi-Okollo, Yumbe, Koboko, Obongi, and Moyo
  • Support technical partner capacity and coordination with consortium partners, district/local government, and stakeholders
  • Conduct field monitoring, address challenges, and disseminate lessons learned
  • Maintain programme risk registers and support mitigation planning
  • Coordinate preparation of high-quality programme reports with timely inputs from consortium partners
  • Support consortia partners in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including ministries, OPM, and UNHCR
  • Organise quarterly and yearly meetings with district leadership and ensure follow-up on action points
  • Lead capacity-building activities for district local governments and implementing partners
  • Monitor partner implementation of capacity-building activities and promote peer-to-peer learning
  • Support DANIDA’s visibility and communication materials as needed
