UN Women’s 2026 internship programme offers students practical experience in women’s economic empowerment across East and Southern Africa.

What it offers

• A three- to six-month internship with UN Women’s regional office in Kenya and/or country offices in the East and Southern Africa region.

Who can apply

• Students enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD programme (or recent graduates who completed their degree within the past two years).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
