Ernst & Young (EY) 2027 CA STREAM Bursary Program (Matric & University) for young South Africans

EY’s 2027 CA Stream Bursary supports South African students who want to qualify as Chartered Accountants by covering tuition, accommodation, books and/or meals.

What it offers

• Academic Merit with Financial Need Bursary: covers one or more of tuition, accommodation, books and/or meals.
• Academic Merit Bursary: covers a portion of tuition fees.

Who can apply

• Matric Applicants: certified ID, certified Matric certificate and Grade 11, certified Grade 11 full report and Grade 12 Term 1 and Term 2 results, parents’ payslip or affidavit stating proof of unemployment.
• University Applicants: CV, certified ID, certified Matric certificate, certified full academic record including 2026 mid-year results, parents’ payslip or affidavit stating proof of unemployment, student’s 3 months bank statement.

• Applications are open from 1 July to 30 September 2026.
