Card Reconciliation Officer at Renmoney

Perform daily card and general ledger reconciliations, validate settlements, and produce exception reports for Renmoney’s card operations.

What it offers

• A role focused on daily reconciliation of card transactions across POS, ATM, web/IPG, credit card, agency banking and other digital payments.
• Responsibility for reconciling transactions between Mambu, the Card Management System, payment switches (Interswitch, Mastercard, etc.), settlement banks and internal GL accounts.
• Production and distribution of multiple reports including Daily Card Reconciliation Report, Outstanding Reconciliation Items Report, Settlement Exception Report, GL Reconciliation Report, Aged Outstanding Items Report, Monthly Management Reconciliation Dashboard and Operational Loss Report.

Who can apply

• Candidates with a minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in Banking Operations, Card Operations, Reconciliation, Settlement, Finance Operations or Electronic Payments.
• Experience in card reconciliation within a commercial bank, fintech or payment service provider is an added advantage.

What you'll do

• Perform daily reconciliation of card transactions across all payment channels.
• Reconcile transactions between Mambu, the Card Management System, payment switches, settlement banks and internal GL accounts.
• Ensure reconciliation activities are completed within approved Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Reconcile all card-related General Ledger accounts on a daily basis, monitor outstanding balances and clear suspense and settlement GLs promptly.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and settlement discrepancies, escalating unresolved exceptions as required.
• Validate settlement reports from payment schemes, switches and banks, identifying duplicate, missing, failed settlements and variances.
• Prepare and distribute daily and monthly reconciliation reports and dashboards.
• Maintain audit trails, report operational incidents and recommend process improvements.
