Who can apply

• Master’s degree in a relevant field required
• 15 years’ practical experience in humanitarian programming, preferably with refugee/displaced populations and a gender-sensitive approach
• 10 years’ proven project management experience, including 4 years at management level or managing at least two grants simultaneously
• Strong skills in M&E, report writing, participatory planning, financial management, and HR management
• Experience managing complex multi-country programmes and diverse teams
• Fluent verbal and written English required; Arabic and French are an advantage

What you'll do

• Lead and consolidate programme planning, implementation, and reporting
• Oversee high-quality interventions and measurable impact across Sudan, South Sudan, and Chad
• Establish and guide programme oversight bodies (e.g., Program Steering Committee, Technical Working Groups)
• Manage programme resources efficiently and transparently
• Ensure compliance with donor rules, CARE’s values, and safety/security protocols
• Provide direct supervision and technical support to country offices
• Monitor implementation progress and support adaptive programme management
