Adexen is recruiting a Glass Academy Manager on behalf of a leading industrial manufacturing group in Nigeria.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Learning & Development, Industrial Training or Organizational Development is advantageous.
• Professional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence are highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in glass manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience managing technical training programs, industrial academies, or workforce capability development.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

What you'll do

• Design and implement a Glass Academy strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Deliver training on glass manufacturing processes, furnace operations, quality assurance, and maintenance.
• Oversee academy operations, including facilities, equipment, and training schedules.
• Assess competency gaps and develop onboarding and succession planning initiatives.
• Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in all training activities.
