Deputy Country Director – Khartoum

Acted is recruiting a Deputy Country Director to support its operations in Khartoum, Sudan, for a fixed-term contract of 12 months starting as soon as possible.

What you'll do

• Support the Country Director in representing Acted’s interests with government, donors, and key stakeholders
• Conduct context analysis to ensure Acted’s understanding of Sudan’s socio-economic situation, donor trends, and gaps
• Assist in developing and reviewing programme strategies and identifying opportunities for expanding Acted’s work
• Engage in donor relationship management and proposal development
• Oversee external communications, including advocacy notes, press releases, and communication tools
• Promote Acted’s global initiatives and contribute to global trends
