GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition 2026

The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition 2026 supports young African entrepreneurs in food and agribusiness with cash prizes, mentorship, and global visibility.

What it offers

• Grand Prize: USD 50,000 cash prize awarded to 1 male-led and 1 female-led promising business.
• Impact awards: USD 60,000 total, with USD 15,000 each for businesses excelling in Technology & Innovation, Nutrition & Food Security, Job Creation, Climate Resilience, and Gender Equity.

Who can apply

• Aged 18–35 on the date of submission.
• Hold nationality (with an official ID) from an African Union member state.
• Venture headquartered in an African Union member state.
• Venture legally registered in an AU member state (or will be registered by 28 June 2026).
• Founder or co-founder and play an active role in operations and leadership.
• No criminal record related to corruption, tax evasion, financial impropriety, or any felony.

How to apply

• Submit an application before 11:59 PM EAT, 28 June 2026.
• Applications reviewed by food systems specialists and development partners.
• Multi-stage selection process: Top 100, Top 40, Top 24, Semi-finalist interviews, Top 12.
• Pitch training for finalists (online and in person) — July–August 2026.
• Grand Finale live pitch before a panel of judges at Africa Food Systems Forum in Kigali, Rwanda in September 2026.
• Winners announced and awarded at the Presidential Youth Town at AFSF in Kigali, Rwanda in September 2026.
