Quantity Surveyor

A full-time Quantity Surveyor role based in Kenya is open until 2026-10-28.

What you'll do

• Prepare Bills of Quantities for electric fencing, shade netting, razor wire, mesh, installation, gate fabrication/automation, etc.
• Draft tender documents, including technical specifications and cost schedules.
• Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs based on site surveys and design specifications.
• Monitor and control project budgets and expenditures to ensure profitability and value-for-money.
• Support procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Manage contracts, variations, claims, payment schedules, and final account closures.
• Regularly prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial assessments for management review.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project teams, and clients for cost-related issues and approvals.
• Identify cost risks, propose cost-effective solutions, and implement value-engineering measures.
• Assess financial implications.
