Principal Human Resource Management Officer

The Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) is recruiting a Principal Human Resource Management Officer to oversee HR functions and support strategic decision-making.

Who can apply

• Nine years’ cumulative work experience, including three years at Senior Human Resource Management Officer level or equivalent in the Public Service or Private Sector
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management/Development
• Registered with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
• Management Course from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in computer applications

What you'll do

• Develop HR strategies, policies, and procedures
• Verify and consolidate payroll information
• Conduct training needs analysis and projections
• Provide secretarial services to the Management Advisory Committee
• Maintain accurate and timely HR records
• Implement HR management decisions within existing rules and regulations
• Manage payroll
• Prepare reports on performance management systems and appraisals
• Update staff training and development records
