Junior Analyst Trader - Paarl

A growing trading team in Paarl is looking for an entry-level Analyst Trader to support FX research, execution and compliance.

Who can apply

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Investments, Accounting or a related field
• RE5 qualification (FAIS compliant) is essential
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Knowledge of financial markets, foreign exchange and banking processes is advantageous

What you'll do

• Conduct market research and analyse financial and economic trends
• Assist with the execution and monitoring of foreign exchange transactions
• Prepare market reports and trading documentation
• Support trade settlements and reconciliations
• Liaise with banks, clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate records and reporting
