Operations Officer

The Operations Officer role focuses on financial oversight, asset recovery, legal liaison, and vehicle import coordination for a transport-focused employer in Nigeria.

What you'll do

• Ensure drivers meet financial obligations and track payments and outstanding balances with bus coordinators.
• Oversee repossession of buses in line with company policies, maintaining a firm approach while prioritizing asset recovery and documentation.
• Serve as the main contact for legal matters involving drivers and leased vehicles, collaborating with the legal team on breaches, defaults, or asset recovery.
• Liaise with law enforcement and support police or court cases, ensuring proper documentation of all legal processes.
• Coordinate with import partners to schedule timely pickup of newly imported buses and conduct thorough inspections to confirm vehicle condition and roadworthiness before handover to the site manager.
