Programme Officer Role

The European Commission is hiring a Programme Officer in Addis Ababa to support EU investment projects under the Global Gateway strategy.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the identification, analysis, structuring, negotiation, and implementation of investment projects.
• Support projects under the EU’s Global Gateway strategy and sustainable development objectives in the twin digital and green transition.
• Focus on investments in digital, energy, agrifood value chains, transport/logistics, critical raw materials, nature-based solutions, water, and health in Ethiopia.
• Work under the direct responsibility of the Team Leader and report to the Head of Cooperation.
