What you'll do

• Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.
• Determine and give complimentaries to guests (e.g., rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
• Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into software during guest reservations.
• Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, emails, typing, faxing).
• Assist in training and motivating employees; follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals.
• Monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform tasks such as moving, lifting, or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
