IDEA and Concern Worldwide are seeking a research consultant to examine equitable Global North–South partnerships in Global Citizenship Education, with a focus on practical guidance and inclusive collaboration.⁠​​‌‌​‌​‌‌‌​​‌​​​​​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌‌​‌​​‌⁠

What it offers

• Approximately €6,000 consultancy budget (inclusive of VAT) covering fees, travel, expenses, and taxes
• Production of an evidence-based report with recommendations, tools, and practical guidance
• Preparation of presentation materials and co-facilitation of a one-day learning workshop in early December 2026

Who can apply

• Consultants with expertise in Global Citizenship Education, international development, partnership development, participatory research, decolonial approaches, research and evaluation, or NGO/public sector consultancy
• Experience in higher education or learning programmes and a track record of producing evidence-informed recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Global North and Global South contexts

What you'll do

• Conduct a desk review of literature, research, and case studies
• Consult stakeholders across the island of Ireland and the Global South
• Identify successful partnership approaches and innovative practices
• Develop a concise evidence-based report with recommendations and tools
• Prepare presentation materials and co-facilitate a one-day learning workshop in early December 2026
