Sales Officer

Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a Sales Officer to drive regional sales targets and strengthen customer engagement at Ndola Cement in Zambia.

Who can apply

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent in business or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in a similar role within FMCG, manufacturing, or commodities industry.
• Certification: Full Grade 12 School Certificate and a valid & clean driver’s license.
• Skills: Strong administration skills, exceptional interpersonal communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain a strong retail sales lead pipeline to ensure distributors place orders daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Engage consistently with customers to strengthen relationships, handle queries, and address complaints.
• Implement trade marketing efforts, including distribution of materials, retail branding, merchandising, and competitor activity tracking.
• Monitor and document competitor activities related to pricing, promotions, distribution, and products.
• Track customer sales and provide analysis for forecasting, trend mapping, presentations, accruals, rebates, and internal reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager, including administrative tasks aligned with DCZ policies and values.
