Electrical Technician, Northern Nigeria

Golden Penny Foods, a subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical systems in its Northern Nigeria facilities.

• A role focused on installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in factory and office environments.

Who can apply

• Candidates must have 5 O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications such as NABTEB or Trade Test Grade.
• A NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) qualification in a related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with automated production lines is an added advantage.

What you'll do

• Participate in the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and maintenance needs.
• Diagnose electrical faults, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Identify electrical safety risks and recommend corrective measures.
