Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
• CPA(K) in progress with at least CPA Part II / Section 4 completed; full CPA is an added advantage
• 1–3 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in a busy finance team or multi-entity environment
• Registered student or member of ICPAK required
• Working knowledge of IFRS and Kenyan statutory obligations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, NSSF, SHIF, AHL, KRA filings)
• Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP software; SAP and/or Zoho is an added advantage
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with eTIMS/electronic invoicing

What you'll do

• Maintain complete, accurate books of account and prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, financial statements, variance analyses, and reporting packs
• Prepare and file tax returns via KRA iTax (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Corporation Tax, Instalment Tax, Advance Tax) and remit statutory deductions (NSSF, SHIF, AHL, PAYE)
• Process supplier invoices, payments, customer invoices, and reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash management, petty cash duties, and cash-flow forecasting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit schedules, and implementation of audit recommendations
• Assist with payroll processing, control reconciliations, and statutory remittance tracking
