Who can apply

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO qualification
• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is an added advantage
• Proven experience as a mobile phone technician or in a similar device repair role
• Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience repairing Android devices; knowledge of iOS devices is an added advantage
• Ability to use repair tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic software
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional certifications in mobile device repair are an added advantage

What you'll do

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on smartphones and smartphone panels
• Replace faulty components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and other hardware parts
• Troubleshoot software-related issues, including operating system updates, flashing, and device configuration
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing before returning repaired devices to customers
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts used, and completed service jobs
• Ensure proper handling and safe storage of customer devices during the repair process
• Follow manufacturer and company repair procedures and quality standards
• Keep the repair workstation clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Communicate repair findings, timelines, and recommendations clearly to customers or service advisors
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or supervisors when necessary
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools and report replenishment needs promptly
• Stay up to date with new smartphone technologies, repair techniques, and industry best practices
