What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Test repaired trucks to verify proper operation and compliance with company quality standards.
• Conduct servicing tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, fluid replacement, and filter changes.
• Inspect components including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, and electrical systems.
• Replace or repair defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Keep the workshop, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Report major defects, recurring faults, and maintenance requirements to supervisors.
