Senior Editor Role to Support High-Impact Legal and Policy Publications

Centre for Law and Policy Research (CLPR) invites applications for a Senior Editor role to strengthen the quality and accessibility of its publications on constitutional law and rights of vulnerable communities.

• Role involves finalising research reports, editing content, ensuring data accuracy, enforcing citation styles, and simplifying legal language for broader audiences

Who can apply

• Master’s degree in any social sciences discipline, preferably in law
• Ph.D preferred
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in research/academic writing and editing
• Must have published extensively
• Knowledge of gender-sensitive communication styles
• Previous editorial experience with high-quality reports and publications

What you'll do

• Finalise research reports and policy briefs
• Edit content, verify data, enforce citation styles, and simplify legal language
• Ensure reports are accessible to wider audiences
• Perform editing and quality checks on all CLPR publications as required
