Greener Nigeria Initiative is recruiting six volunteer roles in Nigeria to support sustainability, community development, and political education.

What it offers

• Volunteer positions in six roles: Programs Manager, Social Media Manager, Content Writer, Editorial Writer, Corporate Communications Officer, and Content Creator.
• All roles are contract-based and located in Nigeria.

Who can apply

• Candidates with BA/BSc/HND qualification.
• Experience is required for all roles.

What you'll do

Programs Manager

• Plan, implement, and oversee programs aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and volunteers.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and prepare reports.

Social Media Manager

• Develop and execute social media strategies.
• Create, schedule, and manage content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Analyze performance and prepare reports.

Content Writer

• Research and produce briefs/scripts for graphic design, video content, and social media.
• Translate complex ideas into engaging content.
• Collaborate with communication and social media teams.

Editorial Writer

• Research and produce articles, blogs, reports, and website content.
• Review, edit, and proofread publications.
• Develop and maintain editorial standards.

Corporate Communications Officer

• Develop and implement communication strategies.
• Draft press releases, newsletters, reports, and official statements.
• Manage brand image and crisis communication.

Content Creator

• Develop multimedia content (videos, photographs, graphics, podcasts).
• Conceptualize and produce creative campaigns.
• Collaborate with content and social media teams.
