  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with job tracking or CRM tools is an advantage

• Fiber Optics Engineer:

  • Qualification: BSc/HND in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related course
  • Experience: 3+ years in telecommunications or network operations
  • Skills: Knowledge of Cisco switching and routing configuration/troubleshooting; experience with multi-vendor telecom equipment; familiarity with OTDR, power meters, splicing tools, and related equipment

What you'll do

• Documentation and Report Officer:

  • Record and track job requests, updates, fault logs, and closures in real time
  • Maintain and archive job cards, completion forms, fault reports, and project documents within 24 hours of job closure
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports (e.g., KPIs, job volumes, SLA performance, materials consumption)
  • Cover coordinator duties during absences (e.g., request intake, work order drafting, client communication)

• Fiber Optics Engineer:

  • Perform customer premise installations (racking, cabling, bonding, grounding)
  • Conduct fiber tests, terminations, splices, and equipment installations
  • Maintain accurate records for fiber databases and assist in network turn-up
  • Work varied schedules, including nights, overtime, and on-call duties
