African Union ECOSOCC 5th Permanent General Assembly Elections Call for Applications

ECOSOCC is inviting eligible Civil Society Organisations to apply for membership of the 5th Permanent General Assembly.

What it offers

• Membership in the ECOSOCC 5th Permanent General Assembly for a term of four (4) years, renewable once only.

Who can apply

• Eligible Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) operating at the national, regional, continental, or African Diaspora levels.
• CSOs must meet the eligibility requirements set out in Article 9 of the revised ECOSOCC Statute.

How to apply

• Submit applications through the ECOSOCC-Connect online platform.
• The application process consists of two steps:
  • Registration: Create a profile and register your organisation on ECOSOCC-Connect.
  • Application: After successful registration, submit your application for the Fifth Permanent General Assembly (5PGA).
• Required supporting documentation must be submitted as indicated on the portal.
• Deadline: 15 July 2026 at 17:00 (Central African Time).
• Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Good to know

• Elections for the 5th Permanent General Assembly will take place from September to October 2026.
• Applications will be reviewed by the ECOSOCC Credentials Committee in accordance with the Statute and applicable Election Guidelines.
