Rise Up Together 2026 Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator

Rise Up Together is inviting 25 civil society leaders from Kenya to join a week-long training program focused on advancing gender equity and justice in education.

What it offers

• A hybrid (virtual and in-person) Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator training program.
• Opportunity to apply for competitive seed funding after the Accelerator to launch advocacy strategies for gender equity in education across Kenya.
• Access to a network of over 1,080 leaders who have influenced 246+ new or improved laws, policies, and programs, impacting 251+ million people globally.

Who can apply

• Visionary leaders based in Kajiado, Narok, Machakos, Makueni, Kiambu, and/or Nairobi Counties.
• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of the training in November 2026.

What you'll do

• Participate in the Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator training program from November 2-7, 2026.
• Engage in intensive capacity building, leadership development, project funding, and technical support to advance education for women, girls, and gender-nonconforming people in Kenya.
