Networks Administrator

One Acre Fund is hiring a Networks Administrator to maintain and improve its IT networks across operations in nine African countries.

What you'll do

• Implement and administer IT networks (LAN, WAN, network segments, Internet)
• Ensure network connections are stable and comply with InfoSec policies
• Install and maintain both hardware and software
• Manage upgrades and repairs through Country ITO via SOPs and ensure proper CITO training
• Update documentation and identify opportunities for improvement through automation or cost reduction
• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and thresholds
• Detect potential service disruptions, manage network events and incidents, and execute correct control actions
• Mitigate network events and incidents and implement networking redundancies and backup
• Resolve Tier 2 or 3 incidents within SLAs
