What you'll do

  • Map and assess social protection mechanisms in Malawi’s National Social Protection Policy (NSPP), including social safety nets, resilient livelihoods, nutrition-sensitive programs, shock-sensitive interventions, and social security schemes
  • Analyse implementation, eligibility, funding, and payment mechanisms with a focus on disability inclusion
  • Identify key stakeholders and their roles to enhance coordination and accountability
  • Benchmark the NSPP against regional and global frameworks
  • Evaluate inclusivity for persons with disabilities, women, and marginalised groups
  • Produce deliverables including a policy inventory, mapping matrix, stakeholder map, coherence analysis, coverage analysis, financing analysis, implementation analysis, visual programme maps, gap analysis, and a strategic recommendations framework
