Concours International- Master Professionnel en Assurance (IIA Yaoundé) 2026

The Concours International- Master Professionnel en Assurance (MPA) at the Institut International des Assurances (IIA) in Yaoundé is a two-year professional master's program with two specialization options in the second year: Risk Management and Control of Insurance, and Insurance Management.

Who can apply

To participate in the competition, candidates must:

• Hold one of the following degrees:
  • MST-A (IIA)
  • DESS-A (IIA)
  • Any other degree deemed equivalent
• OR have a License in any discipline plus one year of professional experience after obtaining the degree
• OR have a Maîtrise in any discipline or any other degree deemed equivalent by the IIA
• Be at least 21 years old on the date of the competition
• Be nominated by their home country

What you'll do

• Take part in a competition organized by the IIA to gain access to the training cycle.
• The competition consists of two tests:
  1. General culture
  2. Choice between:
     • Law
     • Economics
     • Mathematics, statistics, and (choice of):
       • Probability calculation
       • Insurance techniques

• Submit an application to participate in the competition as per the procedures set by the IIA.

Good to know

• The IIA is based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and is open to nationals of CIMA member states: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Comoros, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Chad, and Togo.
• Access to the training cycle is subject to passing the competition and is limited by a quota assigned to each member state by the IIA's board of directors.
