- Demonstrated experience working with or alongside UN agencies (preferably UNHCR), international NGOs, or faith-based organisations.
- Proven track record in advocacy, policy engagement, and partnership coordination at national, regional, or global levels.
- Experience supporting or implementing multi-stakeholder agreements or MoUs is highly desirable.
- Field experience in displacement-affected contexts is an advantage.
- Fluency in English required; working knowledge of French or another UN language is an asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Commitment to the values, mission, and ecumenical identity of the WCC.
What you'll do
- Provide strategic consultation, technical support, and accompaniment to Sudanese churches and ecumenical organisations responding to crises.
- Convene and support joint planning, information sharing, and coordinated action among Sudanese churches.
- Build and maintain networks among Sudan’s religious communities to promote peacebuilding and humanitarian objectives.
- Assess institutional needs and design or facilitate training, organisational development, and resource strengthening initiatives.
- Organise, convene, and facilitate the Ecumenical Network for Sudan (ENS) / Sudan Ecumenical Forum (SEF).
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies promoting peace, civilian protection, humanitarian access, accountability, and inclusive dialogue.
- Maintain strong working relationships with FECCLAHA, AACC, and other key partners.
