Peacebuilding Office Assistant in Juba supports finance, HR, logistics, and MEAL functions for a peacebuilding NGO.

What it offers

• Monthly gross salary range of $1000–$1360, dependent on experience
• 25 days of annual leave plus public and religious holidays
• 12-month contract, 40 hours per week, with a 3-month probation period
• Role requires flexibility and occasional longer hours

What you'll do

• Assist with recruitment, induction, HR administration, and updating personnel records
• Manage staff leave database and follow-ups
• Support archiving, audit preparation, monthly accounting closures, and payment vouchers
• Assist with petty cash, advances ledger, mobile and bank payments
• Help manage procurement of goods and materials for operations in South Sudan and Sudan
• Ensure procurement files are complete and compliant
• Update price lists and supplier records
• Attend events in Juba such as donor embassy presentations and Juba NGO forum meetings
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers
• Track field teams using Garmin support (training provided)
• Collect, verify, and analyse data on programme activities, conflict dynamics, and peacebuilding outcomes
• Capture lessons learned, best practices, and emerging trends
• Support field data collection exercises including surveys, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews
