The Humanitarian Essentials Logistics Module (HELM 3) – Advanced Supply Chain Manager is an advanced training programme delivered by Logistics Learning Alliance for professionals working in humanitarian logistics.

What it offers

• Training in Advanced Supply Chain Management, including programme requirements, global supply chain strategies, and policy compliance.
• Coverage of Stock Prepositioning strategies such as framework agreements, supplier stock, and strategic pre-positioning networks.
• Insight into the Phases of Humanitarian Response: Disaster Risk Reduction, Preparedness, Emergency Relief, Reconstruction, and Development.
• Focus on Team Management, including coordination, communication, objective setting, and leadership.
• Introduction to Cash for Vouchers and Cash Transfer Programming in humanitarian aid.

Who can apply

• Candidates must have completed the HELM 1 & 2 Diploma prior to attending.
• The programme is delivered in English and French, with French-speaking candidates encouraged to participate.

What you'll do

• Attend the Advanced Supply Chain Manager session in Nairobi, Kenya.
• Engage in modules covering supply chain assessment, stock prepositioning, response phases, team management, and cash-based programming.

How to apply

• Register for the event in Nairobi in August 2026.
• Candidates who have not completed HELM 1 & 2 can attend those sessions in May and August 2026 in Nairobi.
• Attend all three sessions (HELM 1, 2 & 3) for a reduced course fee of $1,800.00 USD.
