Zambia Procurement Coordinator (Renewable)

One Acre Fund is hiring a Zambia Procurement Officer in Lusaka to manage end-to-end procurement, supplier relations, and cost savings for the organization’s Zambia program.

Who can apply

• Citizens or permanent residents of Zambia
• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, CIPS Level 4+, or a related field
• Fully registered and valid practicing license from the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS)
• Minimum 2+ years in a procurement role
• Deep understanding of the Zambian market and local procurement regulations

What you'll do

• Conduct market research and collect price trends to report financial savings
• Coordinate the full purchase cycle: RFQs, supplier evaluation, selection, and purchasing
• Negotiate competitive pricing and payment terms to secure cost savings
• Ensure timely delivery and accurate procurement documentation
• Maintain the Zambia Vendor Catalog, including data entry, contact updates, and quarterly audits
• Provide proactive updates to internal teams on procurement requests
• Support procurement planning and process improvements
