The Concours Police Cameroun 2026 is a national recruitment drive by the Délégation Générale à la Sûreté Nationale (DGSN) offering over 2,500 positions across multiple police grades.

What it offers

• Recruitment for Commissaires, Officiers, Inspecteurs, and Gardiens de la Paix through direct and special competitions.

Who can apply

• Nationality: Must be Cameroonian with a valid national ID card (CNI).
• Age (as of 1 January 2026):
  • Commissaires & Officiers: 17–30 years
  • Inspecteurs: 17–28 years
  • Gardiens de la Paix: 17–27 years
• Education:
  • Commissaires: Licence (Bachelor’s degree)
  • Officiers: Baccalauréat / GCE A-Level (2 subjects)
  • Inspecteurs: BEPC / GCE O-Level (3 subjects)
  • Gardiens de la Paix: CEP
• Height (barefoot, eliminatory):
  • Gardiens & Inspecteurs: 1.68 m (men) / 1.60 m (women)
  • Officiers & Commissaires: 1.65 m (men) / 1.58 m (women)
• Additional requirements:
  • Clean criminal record (bulletin n°3, issued within 3 months).
  • Valid medical certificate from a public sector doctor.

How to apply

• Step 1: Complete pre-registration online at www.concours-dgsn.cm.
• Step 2: Submit a physical dossier to the École Nationale Supérieure de Police (ENSP) in Yaoundé or a Regional Sûreté Nationale office.
• Deadline: 31 July 2026 at 15:30 (no exceptions).
• Dossier contents:
  • Handwritten application letter addressed to the Délégué Général à la Sûreté Nationale.
  • Certified copy of birth certificate (<3 months old).
  • Certified copy of required diploma or proof of success.
  • Certified copy of valid CNI.
  • Criminal record extract (bulletin n°3, <3 months old).
  • Medical certificate from a public doctor.
  • 4×4 cm passport photos (white background, no glasses or headwear).

Good to know

• Written exams are held on 12, 19, 26 September and 3 October 2026, depending on grade.
• Physical and medical tests follow written results.
• Old exam papers and corrections are available for preparation.
• No late submissions will be accepted.
